Recently, I read an article in the local paper (Charlotte Observer) about the top brands of pimento cheese.  Since I was raised in the south and pimento cheese is a staple to our diets (ha ha), I just had to read the article!!

In this article, I was introduced to the top tasting brand of pimento cheese: Palmetto Cheese.  How weird!  I hadn’t even heard of this brand and it’s made in the south – in Pawley’s Island, SC.  Since I had never tried this brand so of course I was interested in trying it!

In my search to find out where Palmetto Cheese is sold, I found a printable coupon for $1/1 Palmetto Cheese so I thought I’d share with you! 

My review of Palmetto Cheese

I bought the Palmetto Cheese at my local Harris Teeter.   They offer two flavors:  Original and Jalepeno.  I tried the Jalepeno.

The verdict?  OMGosh! 

This stuff tastes SO good and if you’re a pimento cheese fan, you have to try this brand!  There are 2 flavors: original and jalapeno.  I bought the jalapeno and it was delicious (and not too hot)!  It has such a wonderful bold flavor with just the right texture! 

Palmetto Cheese is pure perfection!

Palmetto Cheese is sold primarily in the south.  You can buy Palmetto Cheese at Bi-Lo, Harris Teeter, Publix, Costco, Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly and Winn Dixie.  If you have trouble finding this product in these stores, check the gourmet cheese area (usually near the deli or bakery) because it’s probably located in that area.  I currently buy the product at my local Harris Teeter and have no trouble finding it with the gourmet cheeses and gourmet salsas.

Do you ever look back at your life as a parent, and realize that things are so much better now than before?  The other day, I was realizing that life has gotten easier with my 2 young boys.

Life As A Parent:  Better Than Ever!

1. My boys are independent!  Even though they are still young (ages 4 and 6), they can do things for themselves now and that is so much better than ever!  They can feed themselves, dress themselves, go to the bathroom, brush their teeth and bathe themselves!  This stage in our lives is so much better than the previous stages and helps free me up to do other things.
2. My boys have opinions – and boy, do they share them!  It’s great to have an opinion and they don’t mind telling you!  The only downside is that my oldest son can get a bit “mouthy” with his opinion!  Having an opinion at this stage in our lives is great because previously, I would have to guess at what they were thinking!
3. My boys have friends!  Having friends to play with is much better than the previous stages in our lives where I was the only person to play with the boys.
4. I have time for my husband!  Since my kids are growing and doing more on their own, it frees me up to have more time with my hubby!  This is much better than being so consumed by the kids!  It makes life much more balanced and my relationship with my hubby is very important!
5. Traveling is much easier!  When the kids were babies and toddlers, traveling was often painful because of the whining, crying, and amount of stuff we had to take!  Now, packing is easier and they travel much better!  We actually don’t mind traveling with our kids now.

My review of the product:

As a girl, my hair is very important to me!  Girls, I know you can relate!  I love to use shampoo that makes me feel and make my hair look good.  I am pretty picky when it comes to shampoo and conditioner so I am always skeptical to try something new.

I loved using Pantene’s new Customized Solutions for many reasons. 

• I loved the way it smelled and made my hair smell good all day!
• Pantene makes a product just for me and my hair type.  I loved that!  It was so simple to figure out which product was for me!
• It’s easy to determine my hair type since they have broken it down to 4 hair types (listed above).
• I love the way it made my hair feel!  It really felt soft, smooth and shiny…how was that possible?
• I will definitely buy this product again!
